Rize Recovery Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain your rights and responsibilities when using the Rize Recovery website, mobile experiences, and care navigation tools (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms.

1. Who We Are

Rize Recovery empowers individuals and families impacted by substance use disorder to find evidence-based care. We offer digital guidance, AI-assisted resources, and curated facility recommendations informed by publicly available datasets and our clinical advisors. Rize Recovery is not a medical provider, detox center, or emergency service.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your contact details up to date, and maintain the confidentiality of any credentials used to access the Services. Accounts are personal and may not be transferred or shared without our consent.

Rize Recovery currently authenticates users with passwordless “magic link” email verification. By requesting a link you authorize us to send transactional messages to the email address you provide.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Use the Services only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.
  • Avoid uploading content that is harmful, discriminatory, defamatory, or infringes on the rights of others.
  • Respect the privacy of fellow community members and refrain from attempting to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
  • Consult a licensed clinician for medical advice. Our content is informational and does not create a provider-patient relationship.
  • Call 911 or your local emergency number if you or someone else is in immediate danger—Rize Recovery is not an emergency response service.

4. Facility & Resource Information

Our recommendations combine SAMHSA FindTreatment.gov data, state licensing information, and expert insights. Because facilities can change hours, availability, or licensure status, we cannot guarantee accuracy or outcomes. Always confirm critical details directly with any facility before beginning treatment.

We may present sponsored resources. Sponsored listings are clearly labeled and do not affect our editorial standards for impartial, clinically sound guidance.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, text, and visual assets available through the Services are owned by or licensed to Rize Recovery and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services without our written permission.

6. Feedback & Beta Features

We love hearing from you. If you share suggestions or beta feedback, you grant Rize Recovery a royalty-free, worldwide license to use that input to improve the Services without restriction. Experimental features may change or be discontinued at any time.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Rize Recovery, its founders, employees, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these exclusions may not apply to you. In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) for access to the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in behavior that harms other users. Upon termination your right to access the Services will immediately end, but provisions that should naturally survive (such as intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect new features, legal requirements, or business practices. When changes are material we will notify you via email or through the Services. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
