Our Mission
We’re done with the runaround
On the worst day of your life, you shouldn’t have to battle ads, broken directories, and disconnected numbers. Rize is the honest way to find real treatment — and the simple way for providers to keep availability accurate in real time.
The crisis we refuse to accept
While people are dying, they’re navigating broken websites, calling disconnected numbers, and getting trapped in advertising funnels. This isn’t a technology problem — it’s a values problem.
Our Story
We are Rize Recovery

Chris, Pat & Nick
Two long-term recovered addicts who now run treatment centers across Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Gilbert — and a designer/developer who’s built products at Apple, Amazon, Target, and Disney. We’re a family team that’s lived this crisis as patients, operators, and technologists.
America doesn’t have a treatment shortage; it has a routing failure. Families and social workers call number after number — wrong, disconnected, or leading to facilities that are already full. A federal audit of FindTreatment.gov found that an estimated 14,283 of 22,106 facilities had inaccurate contact or services information.
That’s not unfortunate — it’s unacceptable. It’s what you get when healthcare infrastructure is optimized for billing codes and compliance instead of real-time access for human beings in crisis.
Rize exists to rebuild that front door.
For people and families, we use cutting-edge AI to turn their actual story into clear, personalized treatment options in real time. For facilities and case managers, we provide live bed visibility and routing tools that replace chaos with a shared, trustworthy source of truth.
From our founders
Healthcare shouldn't be a treasure hunt when someone's life is on the line.
Our Philosophy
Our belief
Recovery should be about healing, not hunting for help. When someone is ready to take the hardest step of their life, the system should meet them with clarity and immediate support.
Radical Transparency
Real-time availability. Actual costs. Genuine reviews. No hidden agendas, no marketing manipulation, no false promises. Just the truth you need to make informed decisions.
Immediate Action
When someone is ready for help, they need it now. Not tomorrow, not after a week of phone calls. Our platform connects people to care in minutes, not days.
Our Technology
Not a directory. A scoring engine.
Most treatment finders are proximity searches wearing a marketing hat. Rize scores every facility across five clinical dimensions to find the genuinely best match — then explains exactly why.
Distance
Exponential decay, not linear penalty. A great facility 20 miles away isn't eliminated — it's weighted appropriately against a mediocre one next door.
Insurance Match
Medicaid, AHCCCS, Medicare, private insurance, or no insurance — we match your coverage to facility acceptance. Medicaid users see Medicaid-accepting facilities first, always.
Clinical Services
Evidence-based mapping: opioid users see MAT programs (buprenorphine, methadone). Alcohol users see medical detox. Benzo users see supervised withdrawal programs. Not guesswork — clinical protocol.
Bed Availability
Partner facilities report live bed counts. Facilities with open beds right now score higher than those without data.
Data Quality
Verified facilities, active listings, and fresh data score higher. We trust what we can confirm.
What We’ve Built
Shipped, not slideware
Every feature listed here is live in production. Not a roadmap. Not a promise. Working code, serving real users.
Multi-Dimensional Scoring
Five-factor composite scoring with configurable weight presets for urgent, routine, and specialized care scenarios.
Insurance-Aware Matching
Recognizes Medicaid variants (AHCCCS, Medi-Cal, MassHealth), Medicare, private insurance, and self-pay to ensure coverage compatibility.
Clinical Service Matching
Evidence-based substance-to-treatment mapping: opioids to MAT, alcohol to detox, benzos to supervised withdrawal. Not keywords — clinical protocol.
Live Bed Availability
Real-time bed counts via Supabase Realtime. Partner facilities update availability as beds open and fill.
Streaming AI Recommendations
GPT-5.2 generates personalized explanations in real time. Disconnect-resilient — results save even if the user closes the tab mid-stream.
18K+ Facility Database
National ETL pipeline from SAMHSA FindTreatment.gov, parsed into 100+ structured service attributes with PostGIS spatial indexing.
Why It Matters
The moat is data, not marketing
Existing treatment directories monetize the search. Facilities pay to rank higher. Advertisers buy placement. The person in crisis becomes the product, not the customer.
Rize inverts this. We score facilities on objective, clinical criteria — not who pays more. Our competitive advantage is structural: a 18,000-facility database with 100+ parsed service attributes, real-time bed feeds from partner facilities, and a scoring engine that improves with every match.
This isn’t a marketplace. It’s infrastructure for a broken system. Case managers use Rize to place clients faster. Facilities use it to fill beds with appropriate patients. And people in crisis use it to find help in minutes instead of hours.
The recovery industry will be rebuilt on trust and data. We’re building the foundation.
Who we serve
People in Crisis
Individuals ready to take the hardest step of their lives deserve immediate, honest support — not a sales process.
Families
Parents, siblings, and loved ones who need clear information and immediate action, not false hope and runarounds.
Healthcare Providers
Hospitals, case managers, and clinicians who need reliable placement options for their patients, not marketing pitches.
Our Values
Our line in the sand
No Advertising Revenue
We will never take money to promote one facility over another. Recommendations are based on your needs, not who pays us more.
Real-Time Truth
Every facility in our network updates their availability in real-time. No ghost listings or outdated information.
No Lead Generation
We don’t sell your information. We don’t pass you around to sales teams. Your crisis is not our business opportunity.
Outcome Accountability
Facilities in our network are accountable for patient outcomes, not just admissions. Quality matters more than quantity.
